Beaudesert Police catch unsafe drivers

It’s been a busy time for Beaudesert Police who’ve taken part in Queensland’s latest campaign targeting unsafe drivers.

Nearly Four-thousand drivers were pulled over for a roadside breath test at the weekend, with 15 drivers returning a positive breath test for alcohol, and 16 for drug-driving.

The operation took place in Brisbane street, as well as Beechmont road in Beechmont and Yarrabilba Drive in Yarrabilba.

Sergeant Natalie Cole from Beaudesert Police told My News Feed a lot of police were involved in the campaign.

“The Warning is clear, that type of behaviour (from motorists) won’t be tolerated. Police are out in force and you can be targeted at any time” she said.

Sergeant Cole added “Road safety is everyone’s business”.
