A Logan City man – accused of murdering his estranged partner by setting her on fire on the Gold Coast – has had his case mentioned in court.
On Tuesday morning, 27 year old Kelly Wilkinson was found dead in the backyard of her Arundel home.
Police allege she’d been set on fire by her estranged partner, – who had since moved to New Beith.
The 34 year old remains in a serious condition in the burns ward of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital.
Even though he’s been unable to communicate with his lawyer, the charges against him were read-out in the Southport Magistrates court.
