With the weekend coming up, police are reminding motorists and motorcyclists to take extra care on our roads.
Senior Sgt Ken Murray from Beaudesert police says there’ve been too many accidents involving motorcyclists – and sometimes it’s due to carelessness….
“They (motorcyclists) must watch their speed – watch the road ad drive to the conditions, especially as they take those corners”.
He also appealed to motorists to watch out for motorcyclists.
“They are difficult to see sometimes such as, be aware when you overtake or when you turn, there might be a motorcyclist nearby”.
