David Crisafulli – tells Parliament about ramping issues
Logan Hospital is not exempt.
Opposition leader David Crisafulli says 15 ambulances were ramped at Logan Hospital on Tuesday night.
Elsewhere, hospitals were at capacity with a “Code Yellow” being declared.
The Queensland Government has since announced a 100 million dollar package to tackle the unprecedented demand on the health system.
There will also be an emphasis on treating as many patients as possible away from hospitals.
$15 million will go towards expanding at home care while a further $10 million is being put towards improving aged care support services.
