A Logan City based football coach has been granted bail after appearing in court, charged with the assault of atleast five under-age female players.
The man – who can’t be identified for legal reasons – appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates court yesterday.
His lawyer says his client will strenuously defend the charges.
Bail was granted by the judge, on the condition he not make contact with any of the alleged victims.
The case goes back to court in July.
