Some of your favourite TV shows are about to change channels.
WIN-TV and its rival Southern Cross Austereo are switching networks following recent contract negotiations.
Programs from the Nine Network that will air today on the Southern Cross 5 channel, will switch over to WIN TV’s channel 8 from tomorrow.
And programs from the CBS owned Network Ten schedule that will air today on WIN TV’s channel 8 – will instead broadcast on Channel 5 from tomorrow.
That makes tonight’s live coverage telecast of Wimbledon tennis a little interesting.
The five hour broadcast is due to begin at 11:50pm on Channel 5, but the switch over will occur during night, meaning the telecast will finish early Thursday morning on channel 8.
Keep that in mind if you set the timer recording tonight.
