Week two of “Operation Cold-Snap” campaign

Week two of “Operation Cold-Snap” – a police operation for road safety awareness during the winter school holidays.

Darling Downs police have been out in force to ensure our roads are safer in a bid to reduce the rate of serious and fatal crashes.

Police say it’s a high visibility police operation with increased patrols and more random roadside breath tests and speed traps.

Operation Cold Snap began on Friday June 25 and will continue until Friday July 16.
