Workplace Health and Safety has been called in to probe this week’s chemical spill near Chinchilla.
The spill occurred on Tuesday morning at the Stanbroke Beef’s Bottle Tree Feedlot.
Staff located a small amount of aluminium phosphide had spilled in the rear of a truck and at the front of the property.
A truck driver was taken to Chinchilla hospital with breathing difficulties.
The scene was declared safe late Tuesday afternoon.
It took five fire crews most of the day to get the leak under control.
