His bail was refused and he’s scheduled to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed at one of the city’s service stations on Monday morning.

Two men, believed to be known to each other, attended the service station on Bridge Street just after 10am.

One man stabbed the other, a 26-year-old, before returning to his white Toyota Camry and driving off.

The 26-year-old received a non-life-threatening wound and was taken to hospital.

Anyone with information about the car’s whereabouts, or who witnessed the incident, is encouraged to contact police
