The two truck drivers who blocked the M1 south of Logan City at Reedy Creek on Monday have been fined thousands of dollars.
Traffic was held up for over an hour from around six in the morning while the pair protested against mandatory vaccines for people crossing the border with New South Wales and lockdowns.
They eventually moved on and regrouped at the Chinderah service station, threatening further action over the border.
Police have since issued them each with two fines for failing to comply with moving heavy vehicles and stopping on a freeway.
It’s understood a van driver was also fined for blocking traffic on the motorway.
The fines total more than four thousand dollars.
