Former Logan City Council chief executive officer Sharon Kelsey should find out her fate by the end of the month.
The Queensland Industrial Relations Commission has been reviewing her case and is expected to shortly hand down its verdict.
Ms Kelsey is waiting to see if she will get her old job back as her contract isn’t due to expire until July next year.
Ms Kelsey was let go in February 2018 following a decision by seven councillors, excluding then mayor Luke Smith, to terminate her employment.
