Fifth person charged over alleged Beenleigh break & enter

A fifth person has been charged over an alleged break and enter at a Beenleigh residence where a child was taken last Friday.

A 28-year-old Caboolture woman has been charged with enter with intent, child stealing, assault occasioning bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

She is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on November 9.

The incident happened around 11:30pm on Friday night, when police were called to a disturbance in Chasley Court in Beenleigh.

It is alleged a 27-year-old woman was hit with an object, receiving injuries to her arm, wrist and back before a two-year-old boy was removed from the address.

The boy, who was subject of a public police appeal, was located safe and well.

Four people had previously been charged over the incident including a 26-year-old Marsden woman and a 39-year-old Marsden man, both charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing. They are due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today (Monday, Oct. 12)

A 23-year-old Morayfield woman was charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing. She is due to reappear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 28.

A 23-year-old Morayfield man was charged with one count each of enter with intent (domestic violence offence), assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offence), child stealing (domestic violence offence) and contravention of a domestic violence order. He is due to reappear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates court today (Monday, Oct. 12).
