A Logan City man has had his appeals denied over his 2018 convictions on terrorist related charges.
In 2018, Agim Kruezi, 28, was sentenced to 17 years and four months jail with a non-parole period of 13 years for planning the terrorist act.
He also received a concurrent jail term of three years and six months for preparing for incursions into a foreign state.
The court was told, Kruezi obtained 10 litres of petrol and glass bottles to make Molotov cocktails after being prevented from travelling to Syria to fight with a terror group.
He was also accused of transporting a rifle to Logan City from Sydney.
Police claimed they stopped him when an attack was “at least planned to the point where Mr Kruezi had obtained weapons to carry out a brutal attack”.
Kruezi appealed the sentences and the fixed non-parole period, but his appeal was dismissed.
