Queensland Health authorities have urged residents from parts of the Darling Downs to urgently come forward for testing after a truck driver from New South Wales entered the state while infected with COVID-19.
The truck driver drove into Queensland on Tuesday August 25 and returned to New South Wales the next day while he was still infectious.
Exposure sites have emerged in Goondiwindi, the Ipswich suburb of Bundamba and Archerfield in Brisbane.
Health authorities have issued close contact alerts for the amenities and dining section of a BP Truckstop in Goondiwindi , a BP Service Station in Archerfield and the Puma Service Station in Bundamba.
