Navigating stress in ‘the new normal’
How many times have you struggled to manage stress in the new, unpredictable world we now find ourselves in?
Lauren Taddeo and Alex Olsen have the answer. The pair are Logan locals and Accredited Mental Health Social Workers with over 30 years combined experience in the mental health field, who are running workshops to combat this.
“We’re seeing so many people who are really struggling with the uncertainty in the world at the moment, and so even before the floods we had planned to run a workshop to help with some overall strategies to proactively manage your mental health in times like these,” Lauren says.
“The workshop is a combination of understanding how to proactively plan for good mental health for you and your family, as well as some strategies for in the moment, when you’re really overwhelmed and stressed out.”
Their workshop Navigating Stress in ‘the new normal’ will discuss preventative psychological strategies, as well as learning tools to use in the moment, when life feels overwhelming.
“We’ll have time for self-reflection, a bit of fun and lots of learning,” Lauren says.
“It can be difficult to prioritise time for yourself – how about making this the first step?”
This workshop will incorporate some Tapping techniques also known as EFT, which you can read more about
here.
They run workshops and offer individual sessions at Inna Essence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Investment for this workshop is $75.00 per participant.
Bookings are essential.
