Thanks to a Logan City Councillor, a local dog obedience club can now build a fence to keep attending pups safe.

Councillor Teresa Lane took to social media to share the success story.

“Really pleased to be able announce that Logan All Breeds Dog Obedience Club at Gould Adams Park Kingston will be able to fence the front section of the fields from Division 2 Local Infrastructure Program funds,” she said.

“The club was worried that over-excited or naughty pups, like mine, might give their owners the slip during class and head out onto Kingston Road in their quest for freedom.

“To keep motorists and fur-babies safe, we are fencing the front section of the club.

“Logan All Breeds will be managing the project with local businesses and contractors benefiting from the business.

“Safe puppies make for happy owners!”
