Disaster funding for Scenic Rim

Scenic Rim council will benefit from  Disaster recovery funds in the wake of last week’s rain event.

David Littleproud MP

The Gold Coast, Moreton Bay and Redlands  councils will also benefit from the Federal and State Recovery funds to help cover the huge financial burden of the cleanup.

More than 750 millimetres of rain fell in just 48 hours in parts of the South-East.

Emergency Management Minister David Littleproud says there’s no cap on how much assistance will be provided.
