The late Stan Wells is to be remembered by his community.
The Rotary club of Jimboomba will be putting up a plaque in the Rotary Park in his honour.
Stan was passionate about community safety. He was a member of Jimboomba Neighbourhood Watch for many years and was area coordinator for the 10 years prior to his passing in November 2018.
Never afraid to stand up for the public’s rights, he was a vocal member of the Logan Country Safe City group.
Furthermore, throughout his life, Stan and his wife Maureen were passionate animal carers and helped with displaced dogs and cats.
There will be a short ceremony at Rotary Park on Saturday, February 6, commencing at 10am.
