A road will be closed in Logan City as of tomorrow, March 1.
Logan City Deputy Mayor Jon Raven took to social media to share the information.
“The roadworks in Crestmead continues with the upgrading of the Bumstead Road and Clarke Road intersection to have traffic lights,” he said.
“To do these works the developer needs to close one end of Bumstead Road for 6 weeks though from March 1.
“But it’ll be much better once the works are finished.
“There are changed traffic conditions on Rai Drive/Green Rd/Clarke Road as they move to the next stage of road works through those streets as well. They have opened up the internal roads within the new industrial estate to make a one-way circuit through the area so there are less delays for motorists.
“If you’re unsure about how the changes will impact you please allow some extra travel time or take a different route.
“The shops on Julie Street are still open for business! Please support local for these 6 weeks as they’ll have less passing traffic.”
