Tax office to crackdown on ineligible Jobkeeper and Jobseeker claims.

The Federal Member for Forde has confirmed the tax office will be chasing-down ineligible Jobkeeper and Jobseeker claims.

Bert van Manen made the admission during the recent “Ask The Pollie” interview that  has been posted on our My News Feed website.

He has said the ATO will undertake the refunding of any errors.

“If there’s a genuine mistake,  we won’t prosecute,  but with any deliberate mistakes, obviously we will”.
