It’s been reported an elderly woman has passed away at a Logan City aged care home just hours after receiving a COVID-19 vaccination today.
A police media spokesperson said police were called to the Yurana aged care home in Springwood at about 1.30pm today (Wednesday April 7).
“It was a non-suspicious death,” he said.
“A report will be prepared for the coroner.
“I can’t comment any further.”
It’s been reported she received the a COVID-19 vaccine, but it’s unclear if the vaccine has any link to her death.
It’s understood she suffered from other health issues.
