The Premier has announced, from 1am Tuesday it will be mandatory to wear a mask in public.
The decision follows the announcement of another 3 confirmed Covid-19 cases.
The most concerning case involves a woman from Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast who has been identified as carrying the more severe “Delta” variant of Covid 19.
Several Local Government Areas will be subject to the mandatory mask ruling, including Logan City, Scenic Rim, Gold Coast and Ipswich regions among others to the north.
You don’t need to wear them while outdoors if you’re exercising or in the car, but the Premier has requested that everyone wears a mask effective immediately, ahead of the 1am mandate.
