Woman charged with child stealing

A  25 year old Glenvale woman has been charged following investigations into an incident last night which initiated an Amber Alert.

Police allege the woman removed an 18-month-old boy at midday yesterday, from his home in Toowoomba.

The child was located safe and well at 10 o’çlock last night, in Logan.

The woman has been charged with child stealing, burglary, break and enter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and failure to comply with an order.

She will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
