A teenager has died in a two vehicle crash and his dad has been seriously injured in a Father’s Day tragedy in Logan City.
The 19-year-old died after his Mitsubishi Triton collided with a Toyota Landcruiser on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Cedar Vale, about 11am yesterday morning.
His 54-year-old father was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
An off-duty paramedic came to the teenager’s aid and gave him medical assistance but he died at the scene.
The 56-year-old man who was driving the other vehicle, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries and so was a seriously injured 53 year old woman.

Investigators are now determining the cause of the accident.
Before the crash Queensland’s official road toll up to Friday was 188, compared to 170 at the same time last year.
