Despite no new local Covid-19 cases being recorded in Queensland overnight, new restrictions will be put in place in Goondiwindi.
The border town recorded three local cases yesterday linked to a cluster in the northern News Wales Town of Moree.
The Queensland Government has moved swiftly by banning residents from that town entering the state as part of the border bubble.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the new restrictions in Goondiwindi will be introduced tomorrow.
