Two men will face the Toowoomba Magistrates Court this week after they led police on a chase in a stolen car across the region over the weekend.
Police spotted the stolen car on Saturday night and tracked the vehicle through Kingsthorpe before setting up road spikes and deflating its tyres.
The 20-year-old man driving the car continued for some distance before he stopped and was arrested with the help of the Dog Squad on Kingsthorpe-Haden Road.
He’s since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Another 20 year old man was arrested later in the night at the Kingsthorpe Hotel and charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle, stealing and burglary along with several drug offences. He was also the subject of two outstanding warrants.
