Scenic Rim Regional Council has school holiday fun in the bag, with a range of boredom-busting activities throughout January.
Council’s libraries will be offering a range of free activities including Lego, nature journals and more.
Various workshops in theatre, printing and mixed media and creative dance are on offer for the Boonah Cultural Centre, The Centre Beaudesert, and Tamborine Mountain’s Vonda Youngman Community Centre.
Three of the workshops have a bird theme, bookings are essential for all except Bird Buddies which is a free activity.

There are also outdoor activities planned in the new year with Camp Kokoda hosting $5 beginner canoe lessons the southern shores of Maroon Dam and Council has organised a park fun morning at Jubilee Park in Beaudesert.
Kids’ Flicks are screening during January for $5 per person at the Boonah Cultural Centre, The Centre Beaudesert, and the Zamia Theatre, Tamborine Mountain.
