Logan Police are investigating a hit and run crash that happened at the intersection of City Road and Logan Street at Beenleigh overnight.
Shortly before 11pm, a motorcyclist was struck by a Toyota Hilux utility, causing the rider to be thrown into the intersection.
The ute’s driver fled the scene and police have established the ute is a stolen vehicle.
The 55-year-old male rider of the Harley Davidson was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment to a leg injury.
Police urge any witnesses or anyone with dash cam or CCTV vision from the vicinity around that time to contact police.
