A Logan energy company is urging residents to check their solar systems, after recent severe weather hit the region.
It comes as severe rainfall and storms caused Logan to experience its worst flood in four decades.
Solar Sonic Solutions took to social media to share some tips with locals on checking their solar panels.
“If your social panels are damaged or you believe the system is damaged, turn your solar system off.
“You are then encouraged to follow the instructions on the sticker located on your inverter.
“Call your insurance company and make a claim for the damage.
“Check your roof, as you may also have roof damage to add to your claim.”
Locals are then encouraged to inform their insurance company that their nominated provider will do the repair and replacement work for the solar system.
