Police investigating the armed robbery of a woman at Durack on Easter Friday have released new CCTV footage as they continue to appeal for assistance in identifying the man involved.
At approximately 7.30am, a 30-year-old woman was walking in Outlook Place when she was approached by a man armed with a knife, who forced her to the ground, and stole her handbag and phone.
Detectives have released vision of the man and the dark coloured Ford Falcon station wagon he allegedly fled the scene in.
The same car was involved in a fuel drive off from a service station in Johnson Road at Hillcrest about an hour before the robbery. The station wagon was fitted with stolen registration plates.
The man is a slim Caucasion with short dark hair and in his mid to late 20s.
In both incidents, he was wearing black shorts with two white stripes down the side, a dark coloured polo shirt and dark sneakers.
Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may have information, dashcam, or CCTV footage from either incident from around 6:30 to 7.30am on last Friday, to contact police.
