The rapidly growing Logan suburb of Yarrabilba is quickly becoming a haven for people who are looking for rental homes that offer better value for money than those on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane.
Rents for a three to four bedroom home with two bathrooms and either a single or double lock-up garage range between $350 to $440 dollars a week .
However, Christie Smith, who’s the boss of L.J Hooker Real Estate, says the scarcity of rental homes is similar to the shortage of available properties in the rest of south east Queensland and once they’re advertised people need to apply quickly to have a chance of living in the area.
Ms Smith says Yarrabilba has a lot to offer for future residents of the area.
