The price of petrol in Logan and the Scenic Rim has started to rise again which is adding more pressure to the cost of living.
Some service stations have been spotted selling unleaded for as much as $2.24 a litre.
That’s the highest price motorists have ever had to pay for fuel in both regions since March.
The RACQ is warning that this is just the start of the price cycle and motorists can expect to pay even more for petrol over the next week .
The surge comes despite the Federal Government’s temporary removal of the fuel excise, which ends in September.
