Police are hunting for two armed bandits after an 18 year old man was robbed in Logan early on Saturday morning.
The man was walking along Tamborine Waterford Road at Waterford around two o’clock when a Mitsubishi sedan pulled over and two men, wearing balaclavas, got out of the car and threatened him with what appeared to be firearms but were actually gel blasters.
The two men demanded the 18-year-old hand over his jacket, wallet and phone before he was struck in the face with the handle of one of the weapons.
He then handed over his property only to be shot in the face with gel pellets.
Police say the two bandits then took off in the Mitsubishi sedan and are still on the run.
