Woodridge MP and Treasurer Cameron Dick was out on a local street, holding up signs to thank his supporters as they drove to work this morning (Monday November 2).
Mr Dick said he was excited to be voted in again, and thankful for his supporters.
“It’s a great privilege to be re-elected as the state member for Woodridge with another swing,” Mr Dick said.
“In my two election campaigns I’ve had two swings to me and I feel very honoured that the community is putting such faith and trust in me to be their representative.
Mr Dick said creating jobs was his number one priority.
“What I’ll do now is do what I’ve always done,” he said.
“Focus on the things that matter to the people of Woodridge and that’s in particular good health care, supporting infrastructure and building projects in the community, supporting our schools, and most importantly I’m focused on creating jobs.”
With him, on the corner of Jacaranda Avenue Wembley Rd, Mr Dick had four dedicated volunteers holding up thank you signs.
“The campaign team has been amazing,” Mr Dick said.
“Because I’ve got such a fantastic team who’s worked so hard for me I’ve been able to communicate the Labor message here to the Woodridge community.”
