The smoke haze across Logan City is the result of the weekend bushfire on Fraser Island.
Forecaster PIETER CLAASSEN says we’ll continue to swelter, atleast through to Wednesday and a high fire danger remains in place.
“The ongoing heatwave is causing high fire danger across large parts of Queensland” he said.
“We just need to slog it out for a few more days before that cooler change comes through”.
The current heatwave comes with a smoke haze, stemming from the fire on Fraser Island.
