A Logan City woman has escaped jail time after appearing in Beenleigh Magistrates court for stealing a relative’s car and robbing a local pub.

The 20-year-old Woodridge woman has pleaded guilty and has been convicted of 19 charges committed over a six-month period.

The woman faced multiple charges including: four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, entering premises with intent, possessing dangerous drugs, failing to provide a specimen of breath, three counts of breach of bail, and many others.

One of the more serious of her offences was an alcohol theft at the Runcorn Tavern on January 27.

Then in late February, the woman stole a relative’s vehicle from another relative’s home.

In court she was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment but was released immediately on parole, after already serving nearly four months behind bars when she was arrested and placed in custody on August 24.

The court heard she was also disqualified from driving for six months.
