- Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday April 3rd. Dunamis Church is hosting a fun-packed morning at Buxton Park, Yarrabilba from 9am to 11am. There will be family and kids activities, face painting, hot cross buns, a visit from the Easter Bunny and much more. - Easter Bonnet Parade, Saturday April 3rd. Yarrabilba Connect will be holding an Easter Bonnet Parade and competition, followed by family favourite movie Peter Rabbit, this Saturday at Yarrabilba Shaw Street Ovals. Festivities will kick off with the Easter bonnet parade and judging from 5:30pm – age brackets for the parade are 0 to 5 years, 6 to 12 years, 13 plus years, and group. Once the Easter Bonnet Parade wraps up, families can enjoy the Peter Rabbit movie at 6:30pm. There will also be canteen open with Eftpos available. For more information, click here.
- Global Food Markets located in Woodridge is part of Logan’s first Food Trail which lists popular local eateries in the area offering mouthwatering dishes and produce. The popular market is open every Sunday from 6am to 12pm, and attracts hundreds each weekend. Fresh produce comes straight from the farmer’s land and is harvested the day before to ensure its freshness every Sunday. Since its opening in 2005, The Global Food Markets has expanded to over 100 stall holders and holds a reputation for fresh produce at affordable prices.
- Flagstone Adventure Playground near Jimboomba offers kids an immense adventure playground combined with a waterpark. From waterfalls and tipping buckets, to water cannons and a treehouse, this playground is one place kids will be entertained for hours. There is also a food and drink kiosk for parents, and toilet facilities. Admission is free to the playground, and the opening hours are from 7:30am to 7:30pm every day.
- The Koala Centre in Daisy Hill is a great place to enjoy nature and have a unique wildlife experience. The recently refurbished centre has five resident koalas in a large outdoor enclosure. The centre also offers a range of educational displays on koalas and other threatened species, as well as an airconditioned Woodland Theatre. Beyond the koala centre, visitors can walk, mountain bike and horse ride through tall eucalypt forest and sun-dappled melaleuca wetlands. The Koala Centre is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and is closed on Good Friday. Bookings are essential.
- Bayside Wake Park, formally known as Cable Ski Logan, is a Wakeboard and Water Ski Park, perfect for a family day out. Visitors can experience an action packed wakeboarding adventure for first time visitors through to advanced riders. Opening hours are from 11am to 4pm over the Easter long weekend, with prices listed on their website.
