Young driver charged with hooning in Logan City

A Gold Coast man has been charged with hooning in Logan City.

Loganlea residents reported a black utility doing burnouts in their streets on Wednesday night.

Polair was called in and spotted the vehicle.

A short time later police caught the 23-year old driver from Nerang, who was subsequently charged with drink driving and hooning offences.

He’s due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court next month.
