For the second day in a row, the heavy rain being dumped on Logan City has forced the cancellation of a Council holiday event.

Due to the wet weather, Sunday night’s Christmas Lights Trail at the Berrinba Wetlands has been cancelled.

Logan City Council has apologised for any inconvenience, but said the health and safety of the public was paramount.

If you are planning on attending future Christmas Lights Trail events, please check on Council’s Facebook page for the latest information.

Guests who registered via direct email can apply to go on a waiting list for future nights.

Council can be contacted for more information.
