It’s snowing mobile phones for Christmas

Logan district police have donated their first haul of mobile phones to the DV safe phone program this week since implementing the local drop point for the Logan district at Logan Central police station.

52 phones have already been donated by QPS staff and members of the public at the Logan Central police station drop point.

Jeep, a sponsor of DV safe phone, have kindly offered to pay postage for all phones donated to the program via the QPS drop points.

These donated mobile phones will someday soon help save a life.

If you would like to donate an old mobile phone, drop it into the Logan Central police station drop point and your phone could be helping save a life too.

Before handing it in, make sure you:
erase all data
remove SIM and/or memory cards
sign out of accounts including iCloud
and unlock the phone
