The flood watch continues today for various towns across the Darling Downs after many were hit by torrential rain overnight.
Storm King Dam near Stanthorpe was at 100 percent capacity prior to the deluge.
And Connolly Dam and Leslie Dam remain at 100 percent and 60.9 per cent capacity respectively.
More than a dozen roads across the Granite Belt remain closed to motorists, with Southern Downs Regional Council urging residents to avoid entering flood waters.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Assistant Commissioner John Cawcutt says crews have been very busy.

Meanwhile, It seems Inglewood has been spared the flooding rain the Weather Bureau had forecast.
The town was bracing for floods after Coolmunda Dam reached 100.83 per cent capacity ahead of rainfall predicted to be upwards of 100 millimetres.
Goondiwindi Regional Council Mayor Lawrence Springborg says those largest falls forecast for Inglewood didn’t happen and instead fell to the east.
