A reported incident at Crestmead on Saturday night sent paramedics, including a critical care and high acuity response unit, to an address to treat two people.
When they arrived at around 7:15pm, the ambulance crews found one person had a neck injury following an alleged wounding at the private residence.
That person was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
A second patient was transported in a stable condition to Logan Hospital.
