Logan City and Scenic Rim residents should be ready for possible severe storms this weekend.
The bureau of meteorology said there will be a 50% chance of showers and possible severe thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, on Saturday.
The bureau said that the same will apply Sunday and that there could be damaging winds.
The bureau added that severe thunderstorms are possible on Saturday afternoon and evening with the potential to bring large hail, damaging wind and heavy rainfall.
Top temperatures are forecast to be in the low 30s.
The extended forecast is pretty much a carbon copy for Monday and Tuesday.
