Owners of Park Ridge shed destroyed by fire face huge fine

The owner-operators of a Park Ridge shed , destroyed by fire last Friday , could be up for millions of dollars in fines.

7 News reporter Alex Lewis has said there’s been a twist in the investigation into the blaze.

“The Department of Environment and Science has put out a statement saying they’re investigating the owners of this property and the shed saying, that they basically didn’t have permission to store tyres there and the illegal storage of tyres carries a pretty substantial fine of around $600,000.00 for an individual and more than $3-million for a company”.
