Logan City’s Beenleigh Rotary Club has an array of exciting new projects lined up for the next few months of 2021.
The Club plans to partner with Cornerstone Law Offices and Global Organization for People of Indian Origin for the ‘Pyjamas to Pull Up’ project. They will be donating 1,000 new pairs of pyjamas to Fiji cyclones and flood survivors.
“Because life feels better in PJs,” a club representative said.
The Club will also be continuing its Don’t Throw In The Towel campaign.
They will be working to save end of life hospitality towels and will donate them to homeless/family care services, with other quality towels going to local vet practices.
Beenleigh Rotary Club members will be working the barbeque and the Bethania Bunnings on February 28, in support of palliative care Queensland Ambulance Wish program.
In celebration of the Rotary Club’s 100 year anniversary in Australia and New Zealand, there will be a drive in movie night at Yatala Drive on April 21 screening The Greatest Showman.
