Emergency crews were called to Tamborine late Friday night following a two vehicle crash.
Paramedics transported an adult female with suspected spinal injuries to Gold Coast University Hospital. A child was transported with her followinthe crash on Waterford Tamborine Road.
Four other stable patients were assessed on scene.
One person declined ambulance transport to hospital while three others did not need hospitalisation.
The injured adult woman was in a stable condition on Friday night in Gold Coast University hospital as well as the child.
