One Logan City Councillor has come out and said if South East QLD is successful in its bid to host the 2032 Olympic Games, this could mean big things for Logan City.
Councillor Karen Murphy took to social media to share her excitement.
“Great news with the announcement that South-East Queensland is the preferred host city for the 2032 Olympic Games,” she said.
“This is a great opportunity for the City of Logan to drive investment, build facilities and most importantly create jobs.
“We need more investment and more jobs in 4207 Heaven and I believe the Olympics is one way we can achieve this.
“I’m a fierce supporter of the Olympic Movement in Australia as it is a great catalyst for jobs and investment.”
