The Eagleby Community Wetlands Group is hosting a Clean Up Australia Day event in Logan City this coming weekend.
The event has been promoted via the community group on Facebook.
Secretary Jackie Dobson said it’s an important event.
“Clean Up Australia Day is coming up soon and we need your help to make sure the Eagleby Wetlands remains a haven for natural wildlife in our community,” she said.
“Please sign your family up for a community activity and then take them on a walk through the wetlands to check out the birds after the BBQ.”
What: Help pick up rubbish at the wetlands and surrounding areas

Where: Brigalow Country Club, Logan Street, Eagleby
Time: 7.30am to 10am
