Two Logan City teenagers have been charged after a Logan City man was allegedly stabbed, kicked, and punched at Brisbane’s Queen St Mall overnight.
Police allege a 45 year old man from Kingston, Logan City, was standing in Queen Street Mall around 10.30pm Saturday night, when he was approached by a group of teenage boys.
“One of the teenagers stabbed the man with a box cutter knife in the left arm and back,” police allege.
“The man fell to the ground and was kicked and punched by one of the other boys.”
The two boys were arrested and charged at the top of Queen St Mall after the Kingston man attended the Adelaide Street Police Beat to report the assault.
A 15-year-old Slacks Creek boy and a 17-year-old Springwood boy have both been charged with one count of acts intended to maim and will appear in the Brisbane Children’s Court on April 12.
