Police have charged a Brisbane man after he allegedly stabbed a young Logan City man in South Brisbane early this morning.
Police have charged a 33-year-old man following an assault in South Brisbane during the early this morning.
It’s alleged around 1am the 33-year-old man and his friends became involved in a physical altercation with another group on Grey Street. During the altercation a 21-year-old Boronia Heights man sustained minor stab wounds to his chest and right arm.
The group fled and were arrested on the Victoria Bridge a short time later.
The Boronia Heights man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he was treated for two lacerations to the arm and chest.
The 33-year-old Fortitude Valley man has been charged with one count each of wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
